Loading ...Woooooo! To be the man you gotta beat the man. Ric Flair! As a kid growing up in the Southeast US nothing was more exciting than getting out to the Saturday afternoon wrestling matches. No one brought more excitement and cocky self assurance to the mat than the “Nature Boy”. Although throughout most of his career Ric Flair played the role of a “heel” he conjures up more childhood memories than the other 70′s & 80′s wrestlers combined.

In his heyday he was a 16 time heavyweight champion and de facto leader of the infamous Four Horseman. He managed to pull off being an arrogant loudmouth while still remaining one of coolest most enteraing wrestlers of his era.

Was Ric Flair ever young? I first saw him wrestle in the 80′s and he looked about 60 then.
