Was it 1995? Or was it 1996? I really can’t remember. Who gives a Jacob’s cracker anyhow, if a Scatman can do it, so can you.

Where’s the Scatman?

Scatman John surprisingly didn’t seem to want to hang around for long. If memory serves, he only released one other (popular) single – and it was called something like “Everybody Jam!” and nowhere near the dizzy heights the Scatman attained with this thoughtfully entitled debut track.

Once we all got over the “bobblydobblydoowapdebibblydoobop (sic)” it turned out old Scatman John was a little bit of a one trick pony. This is his rightful place – in the annals of nostalgia. Never to return. Never to be forgotten.

About the Author

As my name suggests, I was born in the early 80s, the things I write about will be late 80s onwards. Pretty much my earliest coherent memories are of Italia 90, which gives you some clues! I'm English. I'll update this profile bit some more soon!
