The world of music was sad, lonely and utterly bereft of talent, originality and personality in the 1990s, that was until B*Witched were unleashed on the general public some time around 1998.

Not to be confused with the nose twitching 1960s witch of the similarly named TV series, these four Irish girls rocked the world with such classic tunes as “C’est La Vie”, “Rollercoaster”, “To You I Belong” and “Blame It On The Weatherman”.

B*Witched just seemed to peter away around the year 2000, without much of the required fanfare, pomp or circumstance. I blame the weatherman.

About the Author

As my name suggests, I was born in the early 80s, the things I write about will be late 80s onwards. Pretty much my earliest coherent memories are of Italia 90, which gives you some clues! I'm English. I'll update this profile bit some more soon!

  2. God they were truly awful, they polluted MTV and the radio for years. It was a blessed relief when their record company dumped them.
