Starburst used to be called Opal Fruits until 1998. Mars changed the name to bring the UK in line with its international markets. It did the same with Snickers (formerly Marathon) as part of a global branding exercise. Check out the dungarees and roller skates in this ancient 90’s advert.
Wispas -the forgotten chocolate bars launched in 1983 and then inexplicably discontinued. Where have they gone?
