Remember watching a program where an owl asked a green monster questions and rewarded correct answers with a cool plant? Sound a bit like Pete Doherty’s dreams?
Greenclaws was an 80′s and 90′s hit in childrens’ programming. I particularly liked the plants that he grew -always wishing that I too could have a pizza plant. The pet macaw was less annoying than the owl -or Greenclaws himself. The whole conservatory was a tip and the idea of caring for plants never inspired me. It was the chocolate that grew on trees that had me watching this bizarre piece of British programming.
