Happy Days was nostalgic in its own right, being set in the 1950′s but first aired in the 1970′s. Howard, Marion, Richie, Joanie, and Chuck are the Cunningham family. Richie gets up to tricks with his friends Potsie and Arthur “Fonzie” Fonzarelli. The Fonz was originally a dropout but became a huge hit with viewers. Fonzie’s cousin Chachi was a love interest for Joanie Cunningham leading to the spin-off show “Joanie Loves Chachi”.
The Fonz was a massive character who can fight any man, seduce any woman and lead the whole community on the politics and inequity. With his “aaay” and two thumbs up, there’s no person who dislikes him.
