Screech, played by Dustin Diamond, was a cult figure in 90s teen TV. His affable nature, willingness to do anything for his best friend Zach, stupid curly hair and squealy not-quite-made-it-through-puberty voice made him our favourite.

Screech had a massive crush on Lisa Turtle.

Since Saved By The Bell, Dustin Diamond has played a number of roles, but none have surpassed his original efforts as Samuel ‘Screech’ Powers. Before Saved By The Bell, Diamond’s best role had been playing Kid Eating Cheese At Ball Game, in the 1987 movie Teen Wolf Too.
